Do you love the pastel Halloween trend or prefer dark & scary?

a little peek into the process of how your laser +

a little peek into the process of how your laser + cricut files are made:

✍️ 1. it starts with a sketch on my iPad —> I’ll usually do this in procreate or adobe fresco

↪️ 2. once i’ve gotten the sketch done, i’ll move over to the adobe illustrator app still on my iPad. Fresco works seamlessly with Illustrator, there’s a button that says “open in illustrator”!

✒️✏️ 3. I’ll trace my sketch using a combo of the pen and pencil tools with my apple pencil. I’m not trying to be super precise here with connecting lines and points, I’m just trying to get all of the outlines down.

🖥️ 4. I’ll clean up the file and complete it in adobe illustrator for desktop —> this is where i’ll zoom in really close and make sure all of those end points line up, double check in outline mode, compound path things together and export as useable svgs for laser (or cricut).
